Who Wrote the Bible?

Our children are surrounded by words. Song lyrics, influencers and social updates fill their ears on a regular basis. Some of the words they hear are loving and true, and others completely contradict Scripture. As parents, we want our children to believe that absolute truth can be known, and it’s found in absolutely one place: the Bible.

When we read Scripture, we aren’t reading the interpretation or opinion of men, but the very words of God. Even though the men God chose to write the Bible came from many different walks of life, God spoke through each one of them. These men wrote the words God instructed them to write while guided by the Holy Spirit. They delivered the very mind of God so we can know Him and make Him known. And because God Himself is the author, we can trust His Word is completely true.

This week your children are going to hear tens of thousands of words. You have the opportunity to drown out the noise with the very words of life.
