Who Should I Look to for Approval?

Do you remember getting a note in elementary school from a classmate that read, “Do you like me? Circle YES or NO.” Those younger versions of ourselves were looking for approval, which – if we’re honest – is something we haven’t fully grown out of.

Whether our kids or grandkids pass notes, post pictures or send snaps, they are still asking, “Do you like me?” This week, let’s teach our kids that the only approval that matters comes from the One who not only likes them but loves them perfectly and completely, for all eternity.
