As a family, make a list of one thing per month that your family can do to be generous and share with others. Get creative! Ideas could include baking cookies or a meal for someone, filling a backpack with toiletries for a homeless person, or taking time to clean an elderly neighbor’s yard or house.

This week’s verse is in the book of 1 Timothy. Help your child find the book of 1 Timothy. Is this book in the Old or New Testament? How many chapters are there?
Armful of Stuffies
Gather as many stuffed animals and pillows as you can find. Take turns seeing how many each person can hold at the same time. Try doing things with your arms full. Can you open doors, tie your shoe or get a snack? Point out that when your arms are full, all you can do is focus on what you are holding. What treasure does each person need to let go of to be available to help friends and family?
