Who Gives Wisdom?

When we look at the world and all the things it throws at our children, it’s easy to get overwhelmed. How will they know what is true when lies surround them? Will they choose God’s ways or the world’s ways? What will happen when I’m not there to guide them? Our kids are growing up in a world we never knew; and as a parent, the fear of the unknown can be crushing.

But when we look to God’s Word, we see the answer to our fears already written in Scripture. For the Lord gives wisdom; from His mouth come knowledge and understanding; He stores up sound wisdom for the upright; He is a shield to those who walk in integrity, guarding the paths of justice and watching over the way of His saints. (Proverbs 2:6-8)

We don’t know what our children will face. But we do know the God we serve. Let’s spend the next three weeks searching the Proverbs for wisdom that can only come from Him.
